So I recently fell in love with two things: Costumes in the Movie The Duchess, and the Seanik Solid shampoo bar from Lush! If you haven't tried these things, they are Awesome! (and vegan!) Made from fair trade organic ingredients (like nori seaweed!) these solid shampoo bars create the best lather ever and they leave our hair super shiny and soft. Kirk and I love them, plus they look like a compacted Cookie Monster! So after washing my hair I then made some Duchess inspired jewelry from pearls and a buttery rose cabochon set with a rhinestone. It sits just below the collarbone and looks oh-so-royal! The movie itself was a bit depressing but the costumes and jewelry made it drool worthy.
Oh and as a side note, I've sent in my jury photos for my spring shows, so I'll be listing them as I am notified!
