Chain Obsessions

Recently I've become quite enamored with making long neck pieces and so I finally created a long open chain style necklace that incorporates my wood clay links. I'm not going to lie, I'm sort of obsessed with it. It took me about a week to complete but it's so worth it! Here are some shots of just random chains and the necklace :)

** Also remember to send me your love confessions to win those earrings! You have until the 14th to enter!

What I'm working On

So I've been experimenting again with Polymer  and I think I really like the new techniques I'm working on! Here is just an example of a pin design that is in the works. I'll have more photos to come!

Also tonight I'm making Japanese Curry, or "Kare Raisu" and I"m pretty excited about it. Curry became popular in Japan during the Meiji era when India was under British administration. Popular curry dishes include Curry served inside bread (Kare Pan) and Curry served over noodles (Kare Udon) What is your favorite dish to make?

Quick Material Break

I had a spur of the moment urge to work in Polymer today, so I set about creating a handful of cut away shapes from cream colored Polymer. It really was refreshing to work in more giving material than metal, just for a quick break :) It was a lot of fun and now I am ready to get back. These are just one of the earring designs that I made. They're very large in person but are surprisingly light! I'll have more pictures later.
