ALS Boutique This Weekend!

(an excerpt from my feature on the ALS Boutique FB page)

This weekend marks the end of my 2014 show season! If you want to grab some holiday gifts before the rush, you can find me this Saturday down at Roland Park's Holiday Fair from 10am -  4pm.

On Sunday I will be showing at the ALS Artisan Boutique at the Sheraton in Annapolis from 10am - 5pm. I've done this show for a few years now and I can't stress enough how wonderful this show is! There is a wide variety of wonderful Artists all who make amazing art and beautiful products. On top of that, the show raises money for ALS and I'm very proud to be a participating Artist again this year. Please come out and support local art, local business, and of course the ALS cause!

You can check out their Facebook page for more information on the cause and  the show here!

First Sundays Show in Annapolis

I will be on 25th West Street this Sunday in Annapolis showing my work and some fun new Summer designs! Come out and enjoy the weekend! Here is some more info on the show:

First Sunday Arts Festival in Annapolis:   August 3rd on Historic West Street
Over 100 Artists and Crafters
Music, Dance, and Performances

Summer is a prime season for visits to Historic Downtown Annapolis and is the perfect time for taking in the First Sunday Arts Festival with its many cafes and shops on West Street.   The line up of free events for the day is a well-rounded smorgasbord of art-related fun for the whole family with over 100 fine artists and crafters lining the streets.  These local and regional artists will be exhibiting silkscreen, pottery, hand blown and fused glass, nautical paintings and photography, wood turnings, iron works, jewelry, books, face paintings, henna tattoos, painted ostrich eggs and more. One of the great things about shopping at First Sunday Arts is meeting the artisans, learning their stories and feeling their passion about the unique items they create.  The date is Sunday, August 3 from 12:00 noon - 5:00 pm.

Come early and enjoy the soothing music of guitarist Jonathan Stone at 49 West Coffeehouse or take in a Bloody Mary at Stan and Joe's. Meander through the many shops such as The Annapolis Collection Gallery, devoted to the display of the Annapolis master painters who have received recognition for their artistic talents. And, at the end of the day, the festival continues with steel drums by The Geckos on the patio of Ramshead Tavern.  Dogs are welcome, too!  Life is good on West Street!

August's sponsors are:  Remodel USA, Leaf Filter Gutter Guards, Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing, and Nu Look Home Design.
There will be two more opportunities to enjoy First Sunday activities in 2014: September 7 and October 5.  For more information, visit www.firstsundayarts.com
