Spent some time this weekend pulling together a collection of like patterned pieces. Some are new designs and some are past designs with a twist! I've been reintroducing some of my metal and wire work into my clay pieces too. Also, I'll be showing my work at Fells Point Festival next weekend! I know it's been a while since I've done a local show, but now that the busy season is ramping back up again I'll be around a bit more :)

Fall Colors
When standing alone, a pattern is just a pattern. A spot of red, a drop of blue, a single word from a poem. But combine them and they sing songs, they tell stories. An ebb and flow of color and feeling.
When I design, I'm always striving for a feeling of continuity despite the myriad of colors and patterns I use.
This Fall is a visual story spoken through stone grays, muted coral, and burnt orange. When spun together, they speak of warm sunshine moments and cozy indoor nights, an apple orchard and pumpkin spice. A pause before the bite of winter.
