Thrift store find

Just had to share this little mirrored tray I salvaged from my local good will store the other day. I had been looking for something ornate to off set the mainly hard lines in our mostly-modern living room. I must brag a bit, I bought this for a devastating $4!! I'm so glad I popped into the thrift instead of purchasing the same one on eBay ($34.00) I love it so much, it's perfect for keeping those little things look more organized plus it gives off an old Hollywood flair. What thrift store finds do you cherish?

Bracelet #03

Yesterday and today I gave myself a challenge to create pieces using the extra tiles I've accumulated over the years. Whenever I make too many or miscount how much I need, I end up with these single parts to earrings, bracelets and pendants. I'd been meaning to use them some how and now I have! Here is a few photos of the 3rd piece I have made. It surprised me at how similar the designs look to my old bead and gemstone work. It's sort of fun seeing the progression: same design, different medium. I'm having a lot of fun with this challenge!
