New in the Shop!
Ohhhhh! Ahhhh!!! New and pretty things are up in the shop! I had wanted to list like 60 new items today and as always, grossly underestimated how long it takes to do everything. Thus I managed to list maybe 6? hahaha! What things does your mind blow out of proportion? Also, another new-and-improved is our International shipping! We are now able to ship anywhere in the big ol' world. Yay!

Ouch!
Ahhh! Of course 3 days before my show I have inevitably injured my hand working! For some reason I still manage to gouge a nice piece out of my pointer finger on my left hand on a fairly regular basis. So much so that this time it almost didn't hurt lol. Still looks terrible though! Oh well, it was worth it because I made these awesome dream catcher earrings :) I will be at Towson Town Festival this weekend so come out today hello ( if it's not raining that is)

Anniversary!
Today marks 11 happy, crazy, adventurous and most of all loving years with my now husband Kirk! We started dating when I was just a tiny youngin' of 13 :) and we've been laughing ever since!
To mark this joyous occasion, I made myself a pair of earrings :) of course!

Triangle crazy
I think I've gone overboard with the triangle theme :) I just can't seem to get enough of this geometry! (and if you know how mathematically challenged I am, that is not a phrase I would EVER say haha) Here are some photos for you:
Brand new in the shop: Half Star Necklace
Prototype of long tassel diamond earrings
This last photo shows a pair of earrings that I'm currently experimenting with. Hopefully they will be available later in the month!
It's gorgeous outside hope you're making the most of it!

Owlita Earrings!
I'm pretty busy this week taking care of all the things I neglected during my last 2 months of shows, (i.e house cleaning, studio cleaning, business paperwork...) but I wanted to post real quick about these AMAZING Prairie Pheasant earrings that I've been coveting and now am a proud owner of! They are made by Owlita and are the two things I love: super long, and super lightweight! (and 14k gold to top it off) Kirk surprised me with this pair pictured last night and I just about died. Her jewelry was featured on American Idol and is going to be in a Sex and the City episode soon. Please check her things out, they are otherworldly:
Bye for now!

New Work Coral
I feel like I am coming down with a cold which makes me not so happy, it's probably from my long weekend working with so many people at the convention center. However, I am happy that my new earrings are coming together so nicely. I've been playing around with this idea in my head for a while now so I'm pleased to see it come together. Here is a pic of the demo pair, now I just have to fine tune them and they might be perfect!

Matsuri Earrings

Today I decided to have a studio cleaning day! I slowly seem to create small messes wherever and whenever I work, so I went about eliminating these. In the process I managed to unearth a pair of earrings I had made a while ago that I thought were lost! (they were just lost in the mess...) So here they are, I really enjoyed them because they weren't identical. I had modeled them after Japanese Festivals and were so named Matsuri which is Japanese for Festival!

Quick Material Break

I had a spur of the moment urge to work in Polymer today, so I set about creating a handful of cut away shapes from cream colored Polymer. It really was refreshing to work in more giving material than metal, just for a quick break :) It was a lot of fun and now I am ready to get back. These are just one of the earring designs that I made. They're very large in person but are surprisingly light! I'll have more pictures later.

Princess Princess!
New Rose Tower Bracelet and matching earrings.
Cute Hime style outfit and matching DS Cover! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
Hime Princess style is a relatively new fashion category in Japan and I must confess, one that I would wear all the time if I could! Roses, rhinestones, and lots of PINK! So after I saw this amazing nintendo DS Princess cover, I was inspired to make the Rose Tower Bracelet and matching earrings. Now I will have to go by a Nintendo DS just so I can have that cover!

EARRING GIVEAWAY!

Just a few more days until the Home show and I'm still making new pieces! The top necklace is a nod to the past with a variation on one of my first designs called the "Mermaid" it was my first piece of jewelry to be sold on Etsy! So I'm recreating it for this years home show. The other necklace is a rope of the most gorgeous Keishi petal pearls all adorned with faceted roundels of iolite finished with solid strands of iolite wrapping around the neck. It is a subtly glamourous piece and I really enjoyed working on it. The last photo is a mass of evergreen freshwater coin pearl studs set with Austrian crystals.

There are 10 pairs all together and they will be given out FREE to the first 10 people at the Show on Sunday! Hope everyone can make it! The Fall Home Show is always so much fun!

New Jewelry
Finally, Su
mmer has arrived! Finals are over and I'm back in the studio creating what I love: eye catching colorful jewelry! The website is just about up and running and has been restocked for what I hope will be a continuous, joyous work in progress. From now on, look forward to semi consistent updates through the summer and probably not so many depending on my schedule during the fall semester. I'm currently working on a collection of opulent earrings using pearls, faceted gemstones, and sterling silver which I hope to preview sometime in the next few weeks. It will be an exciting line of ear candy! Actually I'm so excited about it that here is a tiny tiny preview:

The rest will be up on my website and at my shows starting most likely in July along with a number of new designs for the summer!
