Veggies

Quick Update on the Veggie Garden Kirk and I planted two weeks ago! This is a photo of the sugar snap peas I'm  so happy something is visibly growing. I was so impatient to see some results! Does anyone know if you need to stake sugar snap peas to let them vine or do they just grow along the ground?

Other photo is the two new styles of bezel rings I made for the last show. Good thing I took photos before because they both sold. I really like the stone set wood ring I am going to have to make some more! Enjoy the beautiful weather today!

Sushi and a Cocktail

The dirty setting ready to be cleaned!
all clean and ready to go.
Testing the stones fit.
Ta da! Here is what I made today, a large hot pink cocktail ring! Just in time for Spring! The setting took my a VERY long time, had to deal with some problem solving along the way but I'm very pleased with the way it came out. To top the night off, I got to taste the most amazing sushi ever at Sushi Hana, I think I'm in Love!

Super Rings

In honor of the Super Bowl and my ongoing diamond research, I dug around and found some interesting facts about the big rings the Super Bowl champs get to show off.

- The Super Bowl will pay for up to $5,000 for up to 150 rings.
- Some rings in years past have been appraised at over $20,000.
- Many rings have diamonds shaped like the Vince Lombardi trophy.
- The 2005 Patriots ring is said to be worth the most with 124 diamonds and 3 marquee diamonds all set in white gold.

Even with all those diamonds, the rings remind me of school class rings.
