You can find me this weekend in booth #639 on Upper Washington ave. Come out and say hi it's supposed to be great weather! I've also made some adorable Mother's Day gifts :) here is a little sneak peak at some new items that will be available this weekend!

Towson Town Recap
Wow, What a crazy week this turned out to be! Between dodging the rain and tornado-like-winds on Thursday, breaking a second part of my tent, using duct tape in creative architectural ways, unusually cold weather on Saturday, and more unexpected downpours on Sunday, I had a rather wonderful show!
I'm being a bit dramatic, but all of you who do outdoor shows know what I'm talking about: Murphy's Law. It's the only constant thing in this crazy outdoor show world we work in! Right? But with all the insanity comes the wonderful rewards of meeting so many new people.
Since I grew up in Towson, whenever I work the Towson Town Festival it's always more of a reunion than a show in some respect. I always look forward to seeing old friends from school and from my childhood and I wanted to say thank you to everyone who stopped by to see me at this years show!
Shows aside, I'm spending today updating the website and taking promotional photos and then I should weed my poor garden that has been neglected during this crazy week!

Towson Town Festival Recap

Whew! What a hot weekend it was here in Towson! Thankfully the heat was about the only thing I wasn't prepared for! It's so rare for nothing to go wrong at a show but I can actually say for the first time, things were near perfect! It was mostly thanks to all the wonderful people who stopped by to chat! Like I said before, this was the first time I've been able to show my new work, and I was so happy that people seemed to receive it well. It was reaffirming to hear good feedback so I feel like I am moving in the right direction. I just wanted to end by saying what a wonderful show this years Towson Town Festival was, thank you to the old friends who stopped by, and thank you to the new friendships I made. Now I get to rest up and prepare for Karma Fest! Thanks and lets all keep in touch!Friday, April 30, 2010
Towson Town Festival This weekend!

Hi everyone! Let's pray for no rain this year! If you get the chance, come out and say hello at Towson Town Festival this weekend! It's going to be lots of fun as always and I have a TON of new designs that I'm super excited to show! It's more playful, it's more fun.
I'll also have my Haiti relief pendants out for sale once again. As the media shy away from this topic, it becomes increasingly more important to keep the awareness alive. There are still hundred and hundreds of people without proper living conditions!
Can't make it to the show? I finally have a very, very tiny selection of my new work up for sale under the SHOP section of the website. We'll be putting more up with a proper shopping cart hopefully soon!
Last minute prep for tomorrow then it's lights out for me!

Towson Wrap Up

me after setting everything up!

behind the booth! Super organization!
THANKS EVERYONE FOR COMING OUT TO VISIT ME!
Finished up Towson Town Fest this weekend! It was a great show except for the weather. The first day was wonderful, not too sunny, not too hot, just right! I had a great time with my new set up and new tent (whoever made EZ up is a GOD) I decided to put out fewer things this time and had a great success! Jewelry artist Ben Neubauer told me while I was at ACC last year that he doesn't put out all of his earring designs at once so people don't get overwhelmed. I think I'm starting to understand what he means. So not only was the setup nicer looking and less cluttered, it was so much easier to take down!
Despite a wonderful Saturday, Sunday was a complete downpour! We went over to set up Sunday morning and only decided to stay for an hour. Many people were packing up and the weather called for rain all day. With an upcoming presentation to study for on top of not feeling that well, we decided to pack it up and instead got some good hot breakfast!
Outdoor shows are always a gamble and I go into them knowing that, it's almost part of the fun! I had a great time and even though Sunday was a bust, got home and did some much needed house cleaning! So it was all good in the end. Thanks again to everyone who came out to see me and support me!
Much love! -Amy

Gearing up for Towson Town!

I've been so busy this week that I haven't had time to upload any photos! I just purchased some wonderful summery fabrics to be used in my new displays for Towson Town and possibly my other summer shows. I'll be displaying my silver, gold and wood jewelry on the grassy green color and my earth tone pieces on the linen. I think it gives a natural feeling to the setup.
Other than that I've just been creating in the studio (which has been about 90 degrees the last 2 days blaa!) running, and getting wedding plans finalized!
So feel free to come and see me at Towson Town Festival this Saturday and Sunday (May 2-3), it's going to be a blast! I've got a new tent and a new setup and 3 new collections of beautiful wearables! Hope to see you all there!

Anniversary Designs!
Today marks the 8th year that I've been with my fiance Kirk! We aren't celebrating this joyous occasion until next weekend so I spent some time in the studio creating these lovely garnet colored pieces. The silver really pops against the dark burgundy colors. Also as a heads up, I will be at Towson Town Festival again this year so if you have time stop by and see me on May 2nd and 3rd.
Also have to share this amazing nail color that I picked up yesterday:

it's from OPI's India Collection and the name is even better: Elephantastic. Reminds me of balloon animals. If anything, it will brighten up this dreary Monday here in Maryland for me!
