Origami Organization
In my many attempts to get organized, I stumbled across this adorable origami box design! They are so simple to make and if you construct them from sturdier card stock they become fairly durable. I made about 20 of these during the hail storm we had last night (which knocked down 2 of my snap pea seedlings despite covering them) and started organizing the smaller items in my studio. I am even thinking of making some boxes to match pieces I make for a truly one-of-a-kind package. Here is the instructions so you can try it as well!
Happy creating!

Veggies
Quick Update on the Veggie Garden Kirk and I planted two weeks ago! This is a photo of the sugar snap peas I'm so happy something is visibly growing. I was so impatient to see some results! Does anyone know if you need to stake sugar snap peas to let them vine or do they just grow along the ground?
Other photo is the two new styles of bezel rings I made for the last show. Good thing I took photos before because they both sold. I really like the stone set wood ring I am going to have to make some more! Enjoy the beautiful weather today!

Give Way Winners!
Alright! So Karma Fest this weekend was just a pleasure to be at! We met some really awesome people, ate really yummy vegan food, enjoyed the sunshine, and even watched some drum circles. Along with awesome services from massage to reflexology, there were great yoga classes and speakers and excellent music! I was so happy to meet and talk with so many of you who attended and I thank you all for stopping by to support my work! That brings me to the next topic which is of course: Winners!
We ended up having a good number of entries for the four giveaways and after a random drawing here are the four winners:
For the 2 look book necklace sets - Nikki Lenane & Stephanie Nicholson
For the Pattern Squares Necklace Set - Danielle Mignon
For the One-of-a-kind Bird Pendant - Kristen Rivas
Congratulations to our Winners!

Karma Fest
I'm happily exhausted from my weekend show at Karma Fest! What a pleasure and a good time that was. The weather may not have been grand but, with all the warm and friendly people, it really didn't matter! I'm super tired tonight but I just wanted to post something brief. I will do a full recap with photos tomorrow along with the drawing for the four giveaways! おやすみ ! or Goodnight!

OOAK Pendant Giveaway!
Hooray! Here is the cutest little bird pendant I have made yet and it's going to find a new home as part of the giveaways this weekend! This pendant is part of the new Diamond Wing series but this is the only one that also has a tear drop eye with two additional crystals so it truly is a one-of-a-kind piece. I hope you all are excited about the giveaways, I know I am :) Please refer to the previous post on how to enter.
Win These!
Here are the photos of 3 of the 4 jewelry sets I'm giving away this weekend! They include 2 of my Look Book 24" necklaces with matching round earrings and a limited edition 16-18" adjustable Patterned Squares necklace and lotus blossom earrings. I'm also giving away a one-of-a-kind Pendant that I will post later tonight.
There are 3 ways to win these fun pieces by either leaving a comment under this post, coming to Karma Fest this weekend and signing up, or by e-mailing me at info@sunahjewelry.com.
The cut off time to sign up is Sunday May 23. I will choose the 4 winners by random drawing and winners will be notified by e-mail and on the blog on Monday. Best of Luck!

Bohemian Prints
I'm just about finished a huge batch of new bohemian print jewelry pieces! I'm so pleased with the way they turned out. I think the patterns and bright colors are so perfect for summer. I'll be selling the new prints at Karma Fest this weekend and also at Sowebo Fest the following weekend.
I've also been receiving e-mails asking about the giveaways and I just wanted to let everyone know that there will be 3 necklace and earring sets along with an exclusive one-of-a-kind pendant that you all will be able to sign up to win, both on the blog and at Karma Fest. I will have the finished photos up tomorrow night along with full details on how to win them.

What can you do in one day?
Today I kept thinking to myself, "what can I do in a day?" It seems like somedays I only complete a fraction of what I thought I could get done, and other days it seem like I'm super-human. Today was in between so I guess that's why I was thinking about productivity. Wouldn't it be nice if we could work at our full potential five days a week? Well, at least I did get a few things done, that's better than nothing :)
Some exciting news though, I am in the middle of transitioning my website from my current host to a more artist friendly hosting service. I know that I JUST put my site up, but this host is so much better and I'm positive you all will love the new site 100% more. So in the next few days I'll be creating a link from my old site to the new one so please book mark the new site when it goes up!

New Photo Shoot
Hello! What a gorgeous day it is here! The sun was shining so bright that I thought I'd make use of it. So here are some new photos I shot of my floral and Urban Garden series. I think the Urban garden series looks very much at home here in the grass. I also finally finished planting my vegetable garden! We ended up sowing organic sweet onions, sugar snap peas, carrots, spinach, and tomatoes. I also have a small herb garden on the side and a strawberry planter! Super excited to see what comes of those.
On another note, Karma Fest is only a week away! It should be a really great event, I almost regret that I will have to be at my booth for most of the time, what with the yoga and holistic seminars going on. So we're hoping for some good weather next weekend. So if you feel like popping by to say hello, I'll be there showing my work, sunshine or not!

New Pattern Design!
Another dreary day outside, but bright and pretty florals are making my day inside anything but blah. This is my Pattern squares necklace with a new aqua and pink twist. My favorite color is aqua, so being biased, this design ranks up there in my favorites! I'm now working on 3 sets of jewelry that will be given away at my next 3 shows. I will post photos as I finish them.

Rainy Day Works in Progress
I don't know about you, but sometimes I love rainy days. I seem to feel more motivated to work when it's dreary outside than when it's bright and sunny. I guess because it feels like it's OK to be inside. So here are a few photos of new design boards, display ideas, and a cat statue from my Grandma that I think I am going to customize to suite my studio decor more (ie. covered in flowers and bunnies). In other news, I'm gearing up for Karma and Sowebo Fest and I couldn't be more excited! It's going to be a really good time filled with yoga classes, good music, and interesting handmade goodness! I even have some exclusive bohemian designs just for those shows. There may even be a giveaway...
More on that later!

Hair Pin Design Show Update
I'm really enjoying this tiny break between shows because I've been able to bring some ideas into reality that I've been thinking of for a while. Here is a lovely hair pin with my aqua and pink combo, a tassel of freshwater pearls, and pink coral dangles. It's really flirty and fun! Perhaps I'll add some similar pins to my normal collection in the future.
Also wanted to share the upcoming places I will be showing:

Karma Fest
Oregon Ridge, MD
May 30th
25th Sowebohemian Festival

Rocks, Gallery Update
Had to share this awesome pyrite ring I just finished. I tried to show the fabrication from start to finish. Although I rarely make jewelry for myself, this one is going straight into my amazingly large jewelry box :)
Also, I just uploaded some new photos of my newer work on the website Gallery. You can check it out here! I hope to keep posting photos as I create new designs there. If you are interested in owning any piece you see on the gallery, feel free to drop me a line.
Let me know what you all think!
Nice Commercial Design
This commercial for Standard Chartered Bank has been playing on Aljazeera for a while now, I just think the design of it is near perfect. It makes me want to put my money with them :) I just wanted to share it with you because it is so enjoyable to watch, for a commercial. Now I know it's just PR but it's done very well. The designer is Stefan Sagmeister you can check out his other work here.

Production Work
Hello from the Studio! I finally cleaned the mess up I made from getting ready for Towson and got to work on some new designs. I also finished applying for some new fun shows that are at the end of May and beginning of June so I will let everyone know as soon as I hear back which ones I will be showing at! Other than that my day was filled with making my favorite little bird pendants and restocking for the next shows. I did find some time to make some organic dark chocolate brownies! mmmm!

Towson Town Festival Recap
Whew! What a hot weekend it was here in Towson! Thankfully the heat was about the only thing I wasn't prepared for! It's so rare for nothing to go wrong at a show but I can actually say for the first time, things were near perfect! It was mostly thanks to all the wonderful people who stopped by to chat! Like I said before, this was the first time I've been able to show my new work, and I was so happy that people seemed to receive it well. It was reaffirming to hear good feedback so I feel like I am moving in the right direction. I just wanted to end by saying what a wonderful show this years Towson Town Festival was, thank you to the old friends who stopped by, and thank you to the new friendships I made. Now I get to rest up and prepare for Karma Fest! Thanks and lets all keep in touch!
